Bike Church Resurrection
CAMP is reopening the bike church. We need help planning, organizing, and doing. If you are interested, we will meet to:
discuss the design.....talk about materials needed and actionable plan to build and brainstorm what 'next steps' are . . . . focus on building first? Begin open hours or wait? Funding options? AND connect people who are passionate about creating a local bike shop collective and figure out a game plan for coordinator roles/ responsibilities.
Feel free to pass on this invite to anyone you know who'd like to join in the conversation.
Come with something delicious to share and an idea of how you'd like to plug in -- however big or small. (Lyndsey is making sweet potato burritos and Tiger is making vegan treats, or possibly some rice dish.)
CAMP Summer Sundays: "MAKE SPACE!" and Bike Shop
On the inside of the building, come enjoy creating with other Cherokee families in either the "move room", the "art room" or the "quiet room" as we dance, draw, and read in each others' company. Out in the back yard, the bike shop helps local residents tune their rides. At the end of the day, the "CAMP family" gathers for some food and brainstorming.

Volunteers with mechanical or creative savvy especially welcome to engage neighborhood youth in exploring their potential using bikes and art.
