In keeping with CAMP's mission to be a community media center, we work to provide computer and internet-related resources to our neighbors. In particular, we provide the following in our public space:

• Free wifi
• Public, Ubuntu-based computer lab with Internet access

The Community Arts and Media Project began in 2002 as a collaboration among seven grassroots organizations each of whom focuses on different aspects of art, media, education, or action. These seven organizations came together to solidify a commitment to our community by purchasing the historic 7,500 sq. ft. Randall Building located at Cherokee & Minnesota streets in South St. Louis City.

Meeting Spaces

Do you have an organization or group of people who needs an inexpensive meeting space? CAMP has several spaces available to hold small meetings, and we can host gatherings of up to 81 people in our fully wheelchair-accessible 1st floor space. Please review our Events Policy and contact our events coordinator at coordinator(AT)stlcamp(DOT)org or tel +1-314-827-4730 if you are interested in meeting at CAMP.  We also have a PA and Digital Projector available for meetings and events inside and outside of CAMP!

 

Events

Do you have an event you would like to hold at CAMP? Please review our Events Policy and contact Events Coordinator at coordinator(AT)stlcamp(DOT)org or tel +1-314-776-1271 for more information. The rental fee is $50 ($100 for an entire day), with $25 deposit for anything hung on the walls. However, we can readily discount this as per your needs, or find options for work-trade, so don't hesitate to ask!

There is one 2nd floor office available for rent right now.

• 200sq ft.
• internet access (wifi, and Ethernet if desired)
• optional website package (something like grassrootsozark.net or ggef.stlcamp.org )
• central heat, window AC
• locking doors
• access to mailbox and full bath shared by other offices on the floor
• $200/month
