Greater St Louis NORML Benefit Art Show
Friday,7 October 2011 7:00pm - 11:00 pm
@ CAMP: Community Arts and Movement Project 3026 Cherokee St, 63118

We invite you to come out and support local artists while helping us raise funds for our statewide petition efforts to bring to Missouri a more rational policy towards marijuana and more effective use of our tax dollars.

Several local artists working in a variety of media will be featured with a price range of available artwork from $20 to $2500

We ask that a parent or guardian accompany persons under the age of 18 who would like to attend this event.

Greater St. Louis NORML believes that in this time of unending increases in medical costs, unsustainable budget deficits, unaffordable pursuit of victimless non-crimes, and what has become unconscionable encroachments on our civil liberties, the case for marijuana law reform has never been more persuasive nor more needed. Legal, regulated availability of marijuana would provide scientifically proven medicine for a growing list of conditions, offer a significant source of tax revenues, and yield a less costly, more functional, more humane criminal justice system. Our goal is to get that message out and help mobilize actions that can bring about this result. Join us for light fare and non-alcoholic beverages as we present works of local artists, and provide the opportunity to answer your questions and discuss ways and means of achieving marijuana law reform in Missouri.

We meet on the second thurday of each month at CAMP, 3026 Cherokee St 63118 from 7-9pm. Our meetings are free and open to the public. 314.995.1395
