As of 10/1/2018, CAMP's building at 3022-3026 Cherokee formally changed hands, to start a new life.  We no longer can host any programming or events.

Help us re-home the whatnots and doodads and whatizzits that crystallized here over the past 15 years!  Come to our Weird Sale Saturday July 21st, 1-5pm!  Everything priced arbitrarily $2 or less.

Yoga with Casey Monday & Weds

Join us for community yoga with Casey, every Monday and Wednesday at 6:30pm. Students are guided through poses, moving at their own pace. Modifications to poses are offered, as needed. Be prepared to connect with your neighbor and possibly meet a new friend. Community yoga is open to all skill levels and anyone age 13 and older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Some mats available for use, if needed. Suggested donation: $5-$15.

The People’s Joy Parade is May 5th 2018!

The 10th annual People Joy Parade is almost here!  The parade will start at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th at the intersection of MINNESOTA ST. & CHEROKEE ST. It will head East on CHEROKEE ST. to NEBRASKA ST.
, North on NEBRASKA ST. to UTAH ST., East on UTAH ST. to TEXAS ST., South on TEXAS ST. to CHEROKEE ST., where we will end by the big main stage.

Here is the route for this year's People's Joy Parade.  The parade lauches Saturday May 7th at 1:11pm from its staging area, the vacant lot next to El Lenador.  Please arrive at the staging by noon!

The People’s Joy Parade is a grassroots menagerie of crepe paper float makers, home made costume fashionistas, b-boys/girls, midnight minstrels, Gigante puppeteers, art cars, bike brigades, moving installation artists, Elvis impersonators, cardboard bricoleurs, rainbow dancers, knights of St. Louis, drag queens, beat making marching bands, Mexican wrestlers, robot makers, Virgin of Guadalupe’s, and lost members of the Missouri tribe that seeks to recognize the importance of the people who make up a community.
