Donate to CAMP
From the very beginning, CAMP has been supported by members of the community through donations of time and money, small loans, and through our founding funders program. Specific projects have also been supported by grants from the Kerr Foundation, the Incarnate Word Foundation and others.
As of June 2007, we opened the 1st floor to the public to provide event spaces for classes, speakers, films, etc. as well as a zine library and public computer facilities. Although many parts of the project are open and thriving -- the housing coop, 1st floor event space, bikeshop, and garden, we are still financially strained, and the building is not yet realizing its full potential.

There are many ways you can contribute:
- Attend a fundraising event or help plan one. Check the CAMP calendar for upcoming events or come to a general CAMP meeting on the second Tuesday of every month, at 7:00 pm at the building. You can receive email notifications of upcoming events by typing your address into the "Event Announcements" box in the right hand column of the main page and click Subscribe.
- Become a Founding Funder. Founding Funders commit to a monthly donation of $10-$50 which is deducted directly from your bank account. This is particularly helpful from CAMP's perspective because it means monthly income that we can rely on to budget for existing projects, and grow sustainably into new ones. You can commit to 6 months or more. Contact us for more info, or simply click on the Paypal buttons below to subscribe for recurring donations for various amounts.
$50/month $25/month $15/month $10/month
- Give a one-time donation through our Network for Good account using your credit card. We are a verified charity through Network for Good, and you will receive an automatically generated tax deduction letter. If you want to talk about setting up an ETF from your bank account, donating a large amount of supplies or furniture for tax purposes, leaving us money in your will, or anything else you can think of that's not listed here, please Volunteer your time . No skills are required to be useful, but we do have great need for licensed plumbing/electrical work, painting & light rehab, bike-fixing skills, instruction for grade-school/middle-school children, yoga, web development, graphic design, etc etc etc. Work days are posted on the CAMP calendar, or you can contact us to arrange a day to volunteer.
- Plan a Service/Learning project. We are always open to hosting groups that want to spend an afternoon doing volunteer work. We can come up with a plan for you, or you can let us know what you are interested in (light construction and rehab, gardening/planting, bike repair, neighborhood cleanup, etc).
- Donate materials from our wishlist or our computers/electronics wishlist.
- Point your browser to Goodsearch for CAMP, or buy used gear using GoodShop.
