People's Joy Parade May 7th

We're bringing back the People's Joy Parade for this year's Cherokee Cinco de Mayo festival, now for the 3rd year in a row!  The Parade will launch at 1:11pm on Saturday May 7th  Welcome are  crepe paper float makers, home made costume fashionistas, b-boys/girls, midnight minstrels, Gigante puppeteers, low-riders, bike brigades, moving installation artists, Elvis impersonators, cardboard bricoleurs, and many more.

To help us cover the costs of organizers, artists, performers, and also street permits, we've started another Kickstarter Campaign to raise funds.  We're hoping to raise at least $2500 by 5/4, and it's looking good since we've raised $600 already!  Please chip in to help make the Parade an lasting Cherokee Street tradition.
